She finds value in exploring meaning-making with her clients and considering the mind/body/spirit connection. Trina loves inviting God into the therapeutic space, attuning to the comfort of each client.
Trina draws from a variety of evidence-based treatment models, understanding that each client’s story and goals are unique. The lenses through which Trina counsels include attachment theory, polyvagal theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She is trained in EMDR therapy and is pursuing training in Internal Family Systems (IFS). Trina is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) pursuing her LPC in the state of Pennsylvania under the supervision of Tamra Miller-Spence.
